1. Client Confidentiality Policy
We respect and protect every client’s privacy. All personal, medical, and family information must remain confidential and only be shared with authorized personnel as required for care.
2. Caregiver Code of Conduct
Our caregivers must act with kindness, respect, and professionalism at all times. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or any form of neglect toward clients or colleagues.
3. Client Behaviour Policy
Clients and their families are expected to treat our caregivers with respect and courtesy. Any form of verbal abuse, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour toward caregivers will not be tolerated and may result in termination of service.
4. Incident Reporting Policy
Any accident, injury, or unusual event must be reported immediately to the supervisor and documented in writing within 24 hours.
5. Attendance and Sick Leave Policy
Caregivers must arrive on time and notify the office at least 2 hours before a shift if unable to attend work due to illness or emergency.
6. Infection Control Policy
All staff must follow proper hand hygiene, wear protective equipment when necessary, and report any signs of illness before visiting clients to prevent infection spread.
7. Professional Boundaries Policy
Caregivers must maintain professional boundaries at all times—no personal relationships, gifts, or money exchange with clients or families.
8. Workplace Safety Policy
We are committed to providing a safe work environment. All staff must follow safety procedures when lifting, moving, or assisting clients and report hazards immediately.
